We care deeply about our teas.
When you place an order on our site, we are entering into a kind of relationship and we sincerely care that the teas you buy create a good experience for you at home.
We don’t want your tea to get lost, but if it is marked delivered by the post office there is nothing we can do to get the money back. This is why we offer to pay for an upgrade to signature confirmation on your package. It is much more difficult for the post office to misdeliver or the package be stolen this way. Please read the shipping policy carefully.
It matters to us that our teas taste the best they can in your home. We vacuum seal most of the teas (the ones that benefit from it) in our shop before sending them out. But we also keep our packaging simple to avoid over burdening the earth with waste, so there is a chance the bags will lose their tight vacuum seal during transit. Although we do what we can to avoid this, we want you to know the tea is not damaged. However if it’s not a raw green oolong, or even if it IS if you’ll be drinking it within a few months, I wouldn’t worry about it. That said, if you do want a replacement we can accept returns on unopened bags of tea.
